This is a semi-transparent fabric which has no elasticity, just a little give in the bias and otherwise taut all over. Silk Georgette Fabric Camouflage silk fabric is 100% natural silk, 50gsm. This lightweight sheer fabric has a tight weave of spun yarn, which creates an overall gossamer appearance due to the extremely thin threads. With its tight mesh-like quality, the custom made silk fabric is highly transparent and has a light airy quality to it, showing its delicate fragile qualities. It is generally taut all over but also has a slight amount of give on the bias. Described as a simultaneously soft and stiff material, it’s a plain weave, poly blend material made of spun yarn that has a shiny finish and a semi-transparent effect. The closed weave makes this fabric a solid, yet thin material weighing in at 80gsm. It has no elasticity due to its taut build, however it allows for a fantastic camo silk material with shimmer and drape.
