The ground is a grey a shade or two down from the lighter version, the wavy horizontal bands are both denser and darker, and they press much closer together, so there is less open space between them. The contrast is stronger and the surface reads darker overall, but the banding stays soft-edged: the waves still flow into one another instead of cutting like stripes. Up close you can follow the rhythm of the waves; at a distance the print settles into a shaded grey field.
