About the pattern

Palmenmuster (“palm tree pattern”) is a German World War Two SS camouflage pattern built from palm-frond and crinkled shapes alongside scattered dots. This “Fall” (autumn) render is the warmer, rustier colourway of the Palmenmuster, using rusty-tan and brown palm shapes on a warm ground — the autumn-facing version, more orange and earthy than the green Spring.

The ground is a warm tan-brown, and over it sit palm-frond, crinkled and dot shapes in a rusty-orange, a brown, a tan and scattered black accents. The shapes are organic and leaf-like, with the characteristic palm-frond and dot structure. The palette is warm and autumn-toned — rusty-orange, brown, tan and dark accents — giving the pattern an autumnal, earthy look. It is distinctly warmer and more orange than the green Spring version.
