Danish M84 Woods Beach Towel

Why this towel

The Danish M84 — known locally as Pletsløring, or “spot camouflage” — is the standard pattern of the Danish Defence. It was introduced in 1984 as a simplified derivative of the German Flecktarn: the Danish version keeps the spot layout but reduces it to three colours — olive green, light green and black — chosen to match Danish woodland. On a beach towel the pattern is big, clear and unmistakably military.

The pattern up close

The dappled black spots over a green base create a fine, almost dithered texture. It is a woodland pattern with real depth, and printed on a full-size towel it becomes a bold statement that looks great on the sand.

• 52% polyester, 48% cotton with a soft white cotton loop backing.
• Single-sided printed front; absorbent cotton-loft reverse.
• Quick-drying, lightweight and compact to pack.
• Hand wash or gentle machine cycle; avoid bleach, iron on low heat if needed.

Use it at the beach, the pool or the gym, or as a light throw on a lawn on a warm day.
