A pixelated print in olive green and khaki with rust-brown patches and darker accents. The pixels are large and clearly rectangular, and the rust-brown areas break up the green in broad, irregular blocks.

The name refers to the experimental Ukrainian patterns of 2012 and 2013. Camopedia records a pattern very close to commercial arid camouflage being worn by the 95th Air Assault Brigade at the Perspektiva exercise in 2012, which was considered for adoption and dropped over licensing costs, and a temperate pixelated design trialled in 2012 or 2013 with a palette similar to German Flecktarn, issued to the 30th Mechanized Brigade and the 8th Army Corps but never adopted across the whole army. The Ukrainian armed forces went on to adopt a pixelated pattern of their own in 2014. MegaCamo’s Ukrainian 2012 experimental is a catalogue label for this experimental-era look: no army-wide pattern is attributed to it.

The shirt itself

This is the T45 sports mesh t-shirt: 100% polyester mesh cloth at 7.05 oz, with a relaxed fit and a soft hand that keeps it comfortable from the first wear. It weighs about 0.19 kg, so it stays light on the shoulders even in the larger sizes.

The mesh is open enough to move air and dry quickly, and the double-needle hemmed sleeves and bottom hold their shape instead of fraying. The print sits in the fabric and is made not to fade, so the camouflage stays as sharp as the day it was made.
