Eichenlaubmuster, the oak-leaf pattern, was a Waffen-SS print produced in two types, A and the ringed B, and it was used for reversible smocks and shelter quarters from the early 1940s until 1945; sources differ on the exact start year. It is built from rounded, overlapping leaf forms layered in colour rather than from geometric splinters, and the reverse of the cloth carried the second seasonal scheme. The later Erbsenmuster, the 1944 pea-dot pattern, was based on it.
