Pattern: German Multitarn
The Bundeswehr’s newest camouflge — a grey-green multispectral flecktarn in its standard palette.
About the pattern
Multitarn (also Multitarndruck) is the newest German Bundeswehr camouflage. Camopedia records research began around 2012 under the WIWeB, and the design incorporates light green, dark green, brown, beige, grey and off-white colours based on the standard BW flecktarn pattern. It was initially supplied only to the German Army Special Operations Command (KSK), and from July 2025 it was announced as the pattern for all new Bundeswehr uniforms, filtering to conventional units from 2028. It is also designed to be more effective against night-vision devices. This render is the standard Multitarn in its grey-green palette.
This Multitarn colourway
The ground is a grey-green, and over it sit a dense scatter of small flecks, dots and irregular shapes in a green, a grey, a dark green, a brown, a beige and an off-white. The flecks are small, rounded and closely packed, giving the surface a busy, pointillist texture. The palette is the standard Multitarn grey-green — green, grey, dark green, brown, beige and off-white — blended into a cooler, more neutral field than the temperate flecktarn. It is dense and detailed, with a slightly muted, multispectral feel.
How it reads on the garment
Because the flecks are dense and the green is greyish, this pattern prints with a busy, textured, modern feel. On the body the grey-green ground is covered by the dense scatter of green, grey, brown and beige flecks, giving the surface a pointillist, dappled texture. It reads as the newest Bundeswehr camouflage, cool and modern. The grey-green ground blends reasonably into the light hood lining and collar, keeping the neckline tidy.
Why own it
If you want the most current German camouflage, the Multitarn is a strong and historically significant pick — it is documented as the newest Bundeswehr design, set to replace Flecktarn, and is designed to be more effective against night-vision devices. It appeals strongly to collectors of modern Bundeswehr camouflage. And its cool grey-green, brown and beige palette is highly wearable, pairing naturally with olive, grey, khaki, tan and denim.

Production and fulfilment take about 4–7 days before your order is handed to shipping; courier delivery time then depends on your destination. Please double-check the size chart before ordering — because each item is made for you, returns are easier to avoid by choosing the right size up front. If a print runs slightly differently from what you see on screen, that is the nature of made-to-order garment printing.
Disclosure
This is a reproduction / military-inspired item, not an issued uniform, and the garment itself is a modern printed piece for everyday wear. The Multitarn naming and its WIWeB development come from documented pattern history, but this is not official issue equipment.
