Pattern: German WWII Leibermuster
The striking multi-colour German pattern — black broken wavy lines over a green, brown and rust field.
About the pattern
Leibermuster is a late-World War Two German camouflage pattern, named for its designer or for the region. Camopedia records it among the wartime patterns that were later experimented with and modified by the Bundeswehr. The pattern was first developed in the 1940s and is notable for its distinctive construction: a field of green, brown and rust-red shapes overlaid with bold, broken black wavy lines, designed with consideration for IR and the visual disruption of the wearer. It is one of the most visually striking German camos.
This Leibermuster colourway
The ground is an olive-tan, and over it sit broad, organic shapes in a green, a rust-red, a brown and a cream, all overlaid with bold, broken black wavy lines that snake across the surface. The shapes are soft and organic, and the bold black lines give the pattern a strong, graphic, almost branch-like structure. The palette is warm and varied — olive-tan, green, rust, brown, cream and black — giving it a busy, multi-colour look. It is the broken black wavy lines that give the Leibermuster its unmistakable street-level character.
How it reads on the garment
Because the black wavy lines are bold and the palette is varied, this pattern prints with a strong, graphic, eye-catching feel. On the body the olive-tan ground and the green, rust and brown shapes are overlaid by the bold black broken lines, giving the surface a striking, branch-like rhythm. It reads as a busy, multi-colour, highly distinctive camo, quite unlike any woodland. The warm ground sits reasonably against the light hood lining and collar, keeping the neckline tidy.
Why own it
If you want a genuinely striking and historically interesting German camouflage, the Leibermuster is a standout pick — its bold broken black wavy lines over the green, rust and brown field are unmistakable, and it is documented as a late-war pattern. It appeals strongly to collectors of German World War Two and distinctive camouflage. And its warm green, rust, brown and tan palette pairs naturally with olive, khaki, tan, denim and brown.

Production and fulfilment take about 4–7 days before your order is handed to shipping; courier delivery time then depends on your destination. Please double-check the size chart before ordering — because each item is made for you, returns are easier to avoid by choosing the right size up front. If a print runs slightly differently from what you see on screen, that is the nature of made-to-order garment printing.
Disclosure
This is a reproduction / military-inspired item, not an issued uniform, and the garment itself is a modern printed piece for everyday wear. The Leibermuster naming comes from documented German pattern history, but this is not official issue equipment.
