The Pattern: Darak DPM

Lebanese Darak DPM is a DPM-family woodland variation linked to the Lebanese Darak. DPM — Disruptive Pattern Material — is the family name for these irregular, organic woodland break-up designs. Rather than sharp stripes or pixel blocks, the pattern is built from soft, isolated blobs and rounded patches scattered all-over the fabric, dense and layered so no single repeat locks the eye. On a garment, the tones work together to break up the silhouette instead of sitting in neat rows.

The Darak DPM look is essentially woodland: a pale ground, a mid tone, and a darker accent layered in amoeba-like shapes. What sets one rendition in the MegaCamo catalogue apart is the colour balance — how light the base runs and how warm the accents feel.

The v8 Colourway

In this v8 rendition that balance is noticeably pale and cool. On the jacket the ground is a light grey-stone, salt-and-pepper tone rather than a classic field green, and the patches split between a muted grey-green (a soft sage) and a warm, medium taupe-brown. The overall read is a lighter, more neutral woodland — closer to a temperate or urban-leaning rendering than the deeply saturated green-and-brown cards in the same Darak DPM series. The shapes stay organic and irregular, and the print sits all-over the body and sleeves for a quieter, cooler DPM overall.

The Quilted Bomber Jacket

The jacket itself is a classic bomber: a ribbed collar, ribbed cuffs and a ribbed hem, a smooth front zip, and two pouch pockets at the waist. The shell is 100% polyester at around 23 oz, lined with a quilted polyester staple-fibre lining for warmth and structure, and the camouflage is printed all-over the shell. It is a substantial, structured layer — roughly 0.652 kg — that holds its shape while still working as an everyday jacket.

Fit, Sizes & Made to Order

The bomber runs from XS to 5XL, cut to a classic bomber silhouette — a roomier torso pulled in by the ribbed trims at the cuffs and hem. Production tolerance is around +/-5% on measurements, so if you sit between sizes the chart is the quickest way to settle it. Like every MegaCamo garment, this is printed and sewn on order: production and fulfilment take around 4–7 days before the jacket ships. That is the time taken to make your item, not the total delivery time — transport is added on top and varies by destination.

Care

To keep the print and shell in shape, machine wash cold, avoid bleach, and do not tumble dry hot — air dry instead. This keeps the quilting from clumping and the print crisp.
