Pattern: Sri lankan Tamil Tigers Cactus

The Cactus is the striped camouflage associated with the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam – the LTTE, the group that fought in Sri Lanka from the mid-1970s until 2009. Rather than the leafy blobs of a woodland pattern, the Cactus is built from horizontal bands of parallel stripes, each edged with small thorny, segmented breaks that give it a spiky, cactus-like texture – hence the name. It belongs to the wider tiger-stripe family of camouflage, but the Cactus carries its own looser, more irregular rhythm.

Why own it. A one-size tube does the work of a scarf, a headband and a face cover, so the pattern carries on a piece you can wear every day rather than keep for the weekend.

The neck gaiter. A one-size tube in 95% polyester and 5% elastane at 210 g/m2, breathable and cut with four-way stretch so it sits close without pressure. It is washable and reusable and it covers several jobs in one piece: face cover, headband, bandana, wristband or neck warmer. The print covers one side, with the reverse left blank.

Sizes. One size, made to fit most adults. Every gaiter is printed to order, so the placement of the print can shift slightly from one piece to the next.
