Czech Vz 98 Desert Camouflage Lightweight Hooded T-Shirt

Pattern: Czech Vz 98 Leaf — Desert

Vz 98 is the later, two-colour desert expression of the Czech leaf camouflage family. Where the standard woodland Vz 95 uses four colours on a light green base, the Vz 98 goes for a flatter, higher-contrast desert treatment that relies on a pale ground with a single dark brown leaf layer over it.

This Vz 98 Desert sits on a cream-sand base. The leaf and irregular organic shapes are a single muted brown-tan, with just a faint olive drift in places, so the pattern is clean, graphic and readable at a glance. It is the two-tone desert face of the same Czech leaf family.

On a hooded tee this reads as a warm, minimal camo that is almost neutral. It is light, dry and low-key — a great all-rounder that works in summer and in the city without ever shouting for attention.

Why own it: Vz 98 Desert is the rarest of this Czech set, using a simpler two-colour leaf logic than the four-colour Vz 95. Its clean, low-contrast desert palette makes it a handsome and easy piece to wear, and it rounds out the Czech leaf family nicely.

The garment. This is a lightweight long-sleeve hooded T-shirt, printed all over with the pattern you see on the image. It is cut with long sleeves and a hood and fits as a regular, athletic top. The fabric is a 94% polyester / 6% spandex blend, so it stretches with you, feels smooth against the skin and takes the all-over print cleanly. It is a lightweight piece — about 0.374 kg — and runs in sizes S to 3XL.

Fit and size. Because the sizes run S–3XL, pick the one closest to your usual top size; the stretch in the spandex gives a little forgiveness, but for a closer cut take a size down and for a looser, layer-over fit take a size up. The print is applied across the whole garment, so the pattern continues over the chest, arms and hood without a break.

Made to Order. Each shirt is printed and sewn after you place your order. Production and fulfilment take roughly 4 to 7 days before the item ships — that is the time to make and pack it, not the total delivery time, which then depends on transport once it leaves us. It is not sitting on a shelf, and that is what lets us offer patterns that would never be worth stocking.

Care. To protect the print, machine wash at or below 45°C, do not use bleach and avoid prolonged soaking. Launder on a normal cycle with like colours and don’t tumble dry hot. Cold, gentle washing is the best way to keep the colours bright.
