Pattern: Czech Duby — a lively green, pink and black pattern
Duby is a MegaCamo catalogue label for an unusually colourful pattern, and it is one of the most eye-catching in the Czech set. Where most camouflage stays within greens, browns and greys, this design breaks the rule with a bold, almost playful palette. Look at the shirt and you see black, irregular leaf-like and cloud-like shapes, patches of soft salmon and coral pink, areas of bright mint and teal green, and a pale grey-tan ground. It is a dense, busy pattern with a lot of visual energy.
The construction is organic throughout — soft, rounded, irregular blobs rather than sharp pixels or straight needles. The black shapes give it structure and contrast, while the pink and the mint introduce the colour that makes it stand out. Depending on the light, it reads as a vivid, graphic pattern that looks as much like a printed textile or an art piece as it does a camouflage.
On a lightweight hooded tee the Duby pattern is a statement. The bright pink and green blocks sit clearly on the pale ground across the chest, arms and hood as part of a continuous all-over print, and its bold colour palette means it is impossible to ignore. It is definitely a piece that reads as designed and fashion-forward rather than as a functional military print.
Why own this version: it is a genuinely striking, unusual colourway that is a long way from the standard green and tan camos. The combination of black, salmon-pink and mint is eye-catching and rarely seen on patterns, so it is a way to stand out and to carry a camo that feels more like graphic design. If you want colourful, distinctive camouflage, the Duby is the bold pick.
The garment. This is a lightweight long-sleeve hooded T-shirt, printed all over with the pattern you can see on the image. It is cut with long sleeves and a hood and fits as a regular, athletic top. The fabric is a 94% polyester / 6% spandex blend, so it stretches with you, sits smooth against the skin and takes the all-over print cleanly. It is a light piece — about 0.374 kg — and runs in sizes S to 3XL.
Fit and size. Because the sizes run S–3XL, pick the one closest to your usual top; the stretch in the spandex gives a little forgiveness, but for a closer cut take a size down and for a looser, layer-over fit take a size up. The print covers the whole garment, so the pattern continues across the chest, arms and hood without a gap.
Made to Order. Each shirt is printed and sewn after you place your order. Production and fulfilment take roughly 4 to 7 days before the item ships — that is the time to make and pack it, not the total delivery time, which then depends on transport once it leaves us. It is not sitting on a shelf, and that is what allows a bold graphic pattern like this to be offered at all.
Care. To protect the print, machine wash at or below 45°C, skip the bleach and avoid prolonged soaking. Launder on a normal cycle with like colours and don’t tumble dry hot. Gentle washing keeps the bright pink and mint from bleeding into each other.
