About the pattern

Sumpfmuster (marsh camouflage) is a German World War Two-era pattern built from soft, water-like blotches overlaid with fine rain streaks, named for the marshy, waterlogged terrain it was designed to break up. Camopedia notes the Sumpftarn family had three consecutive versions, and the pattern was later revived by the West German BGS in the late 1950s. This “43” render is a classic wartime-style Sumpfmuster, with the familiar soft blotch-and-rain-streak construction in a balanced olive-tan and green palette.
