About the US Navy AOR family

AOR stands for the Navy’s digital operational camouflage family, adopted in the early 2010s and built on the same pixel/fractal idea as the Marine Corps MARPAT. Instead of soft blobs it uses small, blocky shapes, so the pattern fragments at distance and stays busy up close. The family launched a number of colourways for different terrain, and the Universal version combines tan, grey and green to work across varied landscapes.

The Universal colorway

This rendition mixes a tan base with grey-green and darker grey mottling. It sits between the warm desert look and the cooler green woodland version, which means it will not look out of place on a trail, in town or out at sea. It is a true do-everything camo palette.

Care: machine wash cold, do not bleach, do not tumble dry.
