Pattern: Canadian Paratrooper DPM
This is a Canadian paratrooper rendition of a British-style disruptive pattern. DPM — disruptive pattern material — is the classic banded, organic camouflage that spread worldwide, and this version runs it in a warm green-and-brown palette with a strong, broken construction.
MegaCamo’s catalogue calls this the Canadian Paratrooper DPM. On the image the ground is a mid green, and the disruptive shapes are a warm brown, a darker green and a near-black, arranged in organic bands and rounded patches. The palette is a true green-brown woodland, with the bands sweeping across the chest.
On a long-sleeve shirt the green-and-brown DPM breaks the surface into sweeping, organic bands. It reads as a hard-wearing, natural bush camo, and the warm palette makes it easy to pair and layer. It is the archetypal working woodland camouflage.
Why own it: the Canadian Paratrooper DPM is a solid, characterful woodland disruptive pattern. The green-brown palette and the broken DPM construction give it a proven, timeless look that suits both the field and the street.
The garment. This is a lightweight long-sleeve hooded T-shirt, printed all over with the pattern you see on the image. It is cut with long sleeves and a hood and fits as a regular, athletic top. The fabric is a 94% polyester / 6% spandex blend, so it stretches with you, feels smooth against the skin and takes the all-over print cleanly. It is a lightweight piece — about 0.374 kg — and runs in sizes S to 3XL.
Fit and size. Because the sizes run S–3XL, pick the one closest to your usual top size; the stretch in the spandex gives a little forgiveness, but for a closer cut take a size down and for a looser, layer-over fit take a size up. The print is applied across the whole garment, so the pattern continues over the chest, arms and hood without a break.
Made to Order. Each shirt is printed and sewn after you place your order. Production and fulfilment take roughly 4 to 7 days before the item ships — that is the time to make and pack it, not the total delivery time, which then depends on transport once it leaves us. It is not sitting on a shelf, and that is what lets us offer patterns that would never be worth stocking.
Care. To protect the print, machine wash at or below 45°C, do not use bleach and avoid prolonged soaking. Launder on a normal cycle with like colours and don’t tumble dry hot. Cold, gentle washing is the best way to keep the colours bright.
