This is the Daguet look most people recognise. The base is a warm sandy-tan, and across it run broad wavy bands in a medium chocolate brown and a muted olive-grey. The bands are horizontal and layered, the classic desert structure, and the warm palette gives the whole shirt an unmistakably arid, dusty feel.

Daguet is the desert variant of the French CCE, developed by the French Army in the early 1990s for operations in the Middle East and Africa and named after Opération Daguet, the French name for the First Gulf War. The basic design is a three-colour desert — sand, brown and grey-green — arranged in sparse horizontal stripes to break up a silhouette in open, low-vegetation terrain. This v2 stays closest to that standard: warm sand, rich brown, and an olive-grey that keeps it from reading as a flat two-tone.

On the garment the warm sand base and chocolate bands give the pattern real depth, and the olive-grey adds a restrained green that lifts it out of a plain desert wash. It is the desert sheet to reach for if you want an honest, classic Daguet that looks like issued kit. It pairs naturally with khaki, tan, cream, olive and brown, and it works as well on outdoor gear as it does as a casual top.

This is a long-sleeve lightweight hooded tee in a 94% polyester / 6% spandex blend — stretchy, smooth and light. It comes in S, M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL and weighs 0.374 kg. Being made to order, a small production tolerance of about ±5% applies, so check the size chart first. Wash at or below 45 °C, do not bleach, and avoid prolonged soaking.
