Pattern: USN AOR Universal

AOR stands for the US Navy digital operational camouflage family, adopted in the early 2010s and built on the same pixel and fractal idea as the Marine Corps MARPAT. Instead of soft blobs it uses small, blocky shapes, so the pattern fragments at distance and stays busy up close. The Universal version combines tan, grey and green so it works across varied landscapes rather than one terrain.

This rendition mixes a tan base with grey-green and darker grey mottling. It sits between the warm desert reading and the cooler green woodland version, which is exactly why it is the do-everything palette of the family: it will not look out of place on a trail, in town or by water. Fabric and build

The T45 is cut from 100% polyester mesh cloth at 7.05 oz — light enough for hot days, with the relaxed fit that keeps movement free. Each shirt weighs around 0.19 kg.

Air moves through the open mesh, which is what makes it a sports tee rather than an ordinary t-shirt, and the double-needle hem on the sleeves and bottom keeps the edges tidy wash after wash. The print is bonded into the fabric and will not fade.

Care instructions

Machine wash cold, do not bleach, and keep it out of a hot dryer. Treated well, the mesh keeps its shape and the print keeps its depth.

This shirt is made to order: it is printed and sewn after your order is placed, so production and fulfilment take roughly 4 to 7 days before it leaves us. Delivery time then depends on where you are.
