Pattern: Czech Vz 60 Mlok
This is one of the most colourful camouflage patterns of the Cold War. The Czech Vz 60 “Mlok” — Czech for salamander — is a bright, vibrant design of green, tan and black that is as eye-catching as it is unusual.
About the Czech Vz 60 Mlok
The Vz 60 (vzor 60) Mlok pattern was developed for the Czechoslovak military in the 1960s, and its name refers to the salamander, reflecting the vivid, mottled look of its shapes. It uses broad, bean-shaped blocks of bright green, yellow-tan and black, a palette that is far livelier than the muted patterns of the era. The design is unmistakable, and it has become a genuine collector’s favourite because of its playful, almost pop-art appearance.
The Mlok colorway
This rendition uses a bright green base with yellow-tan and black shapes. The strong, saturated palette is the defining feature, and it gives the hoodie a bold, cheerful look that is completely different from the usual earth-toned camos.
How the pattern reads on your hoodie
The bold green, tan and black blocks sit clearly against one another, so the pattern reads as a graphic, high-contrast surface across the chest, sleeves and hood. The shapes are large enough to hold their form, and the bright palette photographs beautifully. It also gives the hoodie a playful, retro feel that works especially well as a statement layer.
Why own this fleece-lined hoodie?
The Mlok is a genuine oddity — camouflage that is more colourful than most streetwear. It is perfect if you want something bold, historical and completely different, and it is sure to start conversations. A warm hoodie that does not blend in, on purpose.
Comfort, fit and build
The printed outer face sits over a soft fleece lining, so the hoodie holds warmth and feels comfortable against the skin. It is a classic pull-over with a drawstring hood, long sleeves and a kangaroo pocket, made from 100% polyester with a comfortable drape.
Made to order, sizing and care
This hoodie is printed and sewn on order (Made to Order), with production and fulfilment taking 4-7 days before shipping — the make time, not the total delivery. It runs in sizes S to 5XL, with a +/-5% possible length deviation from manual measurement and production. Care: machine wash cold, do not bleach, do not tumble dry.
