French GIGN Urban v1 is an urban camouflage built on soft, irregular blotches rather than stripes or pixels. The field is a mid grey, worked over with charcoal shapes and muted brown-grey patches that keep the print from looking flat. The v1 marks this as the first version of the colourway in the MegaCamo catalogue.

Urban camouflage exists for the built environment: streets, concrete and glass throw grey and brown, so a pattern made of those tones disappears into a city far more convincingly than a woodland green. The blotch structure keeps it soft and low contrast, which is why urban patterns are so often chosen for their look as much as their function.

A grey urban blotch pattern is about as wearable as camouflage gets, and on a mesh tee it reads almost as a neutral: charcoal, mid-grey and brown-grey go with black, denim, white and navy. Fabric and build

The T45 is cut from 100% polyester mesh cloth at 7.05 oz — light enough for hot days, with the relaxed fit that keeps movement free. Each shirt weighs around 0.19 kg.

Air moves through the open mesh, which is what makes it a sports tee rather than an ordinary t-shirt, and the double-needle hem on the sleeves and bottom keeps the edges tidy wash after wash. The print is bonded into the fabric and will not fade.

Machine wash cold, do not bleach, and keep it out of a hot dryer. Treated well, the mesh keeps its shape and the print keeps its depth.
