Pattern: French Snow — white with olive and charcoal flecks
The 13e Régiment de Dragons Parachutistes, or 13e RDP, is a genuine piece of French military history. It is the French Army’s long-range reconnaissance unit — the “parachute dragoons” — tasked with operating behind enemy lines, and it has been involved in some of France’s most demanding operations. That elite, far-flung reconnaissance role explains the pattern you see here. Snow camouflage is built to hide the soldier in a white, broken, partly-forested landscape, and this rendition is exactly that: a cold white and very light grey base that is then peppered with scattered flecks and small mottled patches of olive green and dark charcoal.
Look closely at the shapes and they are small, lichen-like and irregular rather than large blocks — little fragments of green and near-black spread across the pale ground in a way that mimics snow-covered scrub, dead twigs and dappled shade. It is an organic, non-digital design, with the kind of soft, broken detail you would expect from a snow pattern rather than a hard-edged winter pixel. The white ground does the heavy lifting, and the green and dark accents break up the silhouette.
On a lightweight hooded tee, a white-based snow pattern is striking. Most camo tops are leafy, dusty or dark; a white snow rendition is immediately different. The small green and charcoal fragments read clearly against the pale fabric across the chest, arms and hood, and the all-over print means the winter look carries through the whole garment rather than stopping at the collar. It is a clean, bright, distinctive piece.
Why own this version: it is a genuinely uncommon look. A white snow camouflage on a hooded tee is eye-catching and clean, it suits people who want camo that is not the usual woodland tangle, and it links to a real and interesting unit — the air of French long-range reconnaissance. The mix of a pale base with olive and charcoal accents keeps it from looking like a plain white tee.
The garment. This is a lightweight long-sleeve hooded T-shirt, printed all over with the pattern you can see on the image. It is cut with long sleeves and a hood and fits as a regular, athletic top. The fabric is a 94% polyester / 6% spandex blend, so it stretches with you, sits smooth against the skin and takes the all-over print cleanly. It is a light piece — about 0.374 kg — and runs in sizes S to 3XL.
Fit and size. Because the sizes run S–3XL, pick the one closest to your usual top; the stretch in the spandex gives a little forgiveness, but for a closer cut take a size down and for a looser, layer-over fit take a size up. The print covers the whole garment, so the pattern continues across the chest, arms and hood without a gap.
Made to Order. Each shirt is printed and sewn after you place your order. Production and fulfilment take roughly 4 to 7 days before the item ships — that is the time to make and pack it, not the total delivery time, which then depends on transport once it leaves us. It is not sitting on a shelf, and that is what allows a niche snow pattern like this to be offered at all.
Care. To protect the print, machine wash at or below 45°C, skip the bleach and avoid prolonged soaking. Launder on a normal cycle with like colours and don’t tumble dry hot. Gentle washing is especially important here, to keep the white ground bright and the green and charcoal accents from bleeding.
