Pattern: French Daguet v3

A pale grey field crossed by broad, soft-edged horizontal bands in deep maroon. The grey carries most of the surface, so the shirt reads light at a distance, while the maroon bands move across the print in long wavy strokes.

Daguet is the desert camouflage of the French Army, officially the bariolage zone désertique, introduced in 1989 and named after Opération Daguet, France’s contribution to the 1990–91 Gulf War. It reuses the shape language of the Centre Europe pattern recoloured for sand and rock, and it stayed in service until the bariolage multi-environnement took over from 2024. MegaCamo presents this pattern in a set of colourways, and v3 is the coolest of them: a grey-and-maroon reading produced for this catalogue rather than a separate pattern ever issued by the French Army.

The shirt itself

This is the T45 sports mesh t-shirt: 100% polyester mesh cloth at 7.05 oz, with a relaxed fit and a soft hand that keeps it comfortable from the first wear. It weighs about 0.19 kg, so it stays light on the shoulders even in the larger sizes.

The mesh is open enough to move air and dry quickly, and the double-needle hemmed sleeves and bottom hold their shape instead of fraying. The print sits in the fabric and is made not to fade, so the camouflage stays as sharp as the day it was made.
