Daguet is the desert camouflage family the French forces introduced around the time of the Gulf War, built for dry, open terrain. The Daguet palette is genuinely unusual — very few camos combine rust, tan and sage like this. It uses broad, irregular shapes in sand, tan and a characteristic reddish-brown, with pale green accents that give it a softer, warmer feel than a straight tan camo. The warm rust-and-green pairing keeps the print lively without being loud.

Because the mesh is airy and the print is fine, French Daguet v1 comes across as texture more than as a statement: the tan, green and rust hold their contrast up close and soften into a quieter surface at a few paces.
