Pattern: French Daguet v2

A warm sand ground with broad horizontal bands in brown and olive-grey. The colours sit close to one another in value, so the bands come through as a soft transition rather than a hard contrast.

Daguet is the French Army’s desert pattern, officially the bariolage zone désertique: introduced in 1989, named after Opération Daguet in the 1990–91 Gulf War, and replaced from 2024 by the bariolage multi-environnement. It takes its shapes from the Centre Europe pattern and recolours them for arid ground. Within MegaCamo this pattern is offered in several colourways: v2 is the sand-and-brown reading, the one closest to the desert terrain the design was drawn for, and the v marker is a catalogue colourway rather than an official French designation.

Sand and brown are the easiest camouflage colours to wear, and on mesh the v2 colourway behaves like a warm neutral shirt — good with khaki, olive, brown leather and stone.

The shirt itself

This is the T45 sports mesh t-shirt: 100% polyester mesh cloth at 7.05 oz, with a relaxed fit and a soft hand that keeps it comfortable from the first wear. It weighs about 0.19 kg, so it stays light on the shoulders even in the larger sizes.

The mesh is open enough to move air and dry quickly, and the double-needle hemmed sleeves and bottom hold their shape instead of fraying. The print sits in the fabric and is made not to fade, so the camouflage stays as sharp as the day it was made.
