The German Flecktarn is the pattern used here. Flecktarn is a German five-colour dotted camouflage built by blending small, dot-streaked patches of dark green, olive, light green, brown and black together, so the pattern breaks up rather than forms flat blocks.

Adopted by the German Bundeswehr as its standard five-colour ‘5-Farben-Tarndruck’ after development in the mid-to-late 1980s; it remains the current standard, being replaced over time by the newer Multitarn.

On this build the pattern carries a white/green feel, and because it is printed all over, snow flecktarn schneetarn fleck runs across the chest, sleeves and back in one continuous print.

Why own it. German Flecktarn is printed all over this windbreaker, so the camo runs as a full-coverage print rather than a small chest panel. It reads clearly at a distance and still wears like a normal daily windbreaker.

The windbreaker. This is a quilted-lining windbreaker, printed all over with the pattern you see. The outer shell is a lightweight 100% polyester that shrugs off wind and light rain, and the quilted polyester staple-fibre lining adds warmth without bulk — the right layer for spring, autumn and cool summer evenings.

Fit and features. It has a full-length front zip, two pouch pockets, an adjustable drawstring hood, and elastic sleeve cuffs and hem that keep the wind out, so it cuts a clean regular fit. It runs in sizes XS–2XL; pick the one closest to your usual jacket size. As with any made-to-order garment, allow a small production tolerance of about ±5%.

Made to Order. Each jacket is printed and sewn after you place your order. Production and fulfilment take roughly 4 to 7 days before the item ships — that is the time to make and pack it, not the total delivery time, which then depends on transport once it leaves us.

Care. Machine wash cold to protect the print; avoid bleach and do not tumble dry hot.
