Zaire Leopard Camouflage Fleece Hoodie

Pattern: Zaire Leopard

This hoodie is printed with the leopard-spot camouflage associated with Zaire (the former name of the Democratic Republic of the Congo). In the 1970s the Forces Armées Zaïroises adopted a distinctive spread of leopard-like rosettes — dark brown-and-black spots irregularly placed over a tan and green ground.

The result is one of the most unusual of the African patterns, closer to animal print than to a conventional military camouflage.
