Pattern: Australian AUSCAM DPCU
DPCU, Disruptive Pattern Camouflage Uniform, nicknamed Auscam, jelly-bean or hearts-and-bunnies camo, is the five-colour pattern that equipped the Australian Defence Force for decades. Why own it: DPCU is the classic Australian camo, with a distinctive five-colour palette and a famous nickname. It was developed and tested through the late 1970s and early 1980s, introduced by 1989, and was the standard Australian uniform until it began to be phased out in the 2020s.
Why own it. It packs down to nothing and covers the neck, the face or the wrist, which makes it the simplest way to wear this camo with ordinary clothes.
The neck gaiter. A one-size tube in 95% polyester and 5% elastane at 210 g/m2, breathable and cut with four-way stretch so it sits close without pressure. It is washable and reusable and it covers several jobs in one piece: face cover, headband, bandana, wristband or neck warmer. The print covers one side, with the reverse left blank.
Sizes. One size, made to fit most adults. Every gaiter is printed to order, so the placement of the print can shift slightly from one piece to the next.
Made to Order. There is a fulfilment time of 4-7 days for the fabric printing and the sewing. Shipping directly after fulfillment.
Printed and sewn on order. Shipping directly after fulfillment from our supplier.
Care. Machine wash cold. Do not bleach. Do not iron the print.
Explore more. See the neck gaiters and scarves collection and the face masks collection to find this and other camouflages. The Australian AUSCAM DPCU collection gathers the pieces printed with this pattern.
