Pattern: Italian San Marco Telo Mimetico 26 (v4)
This is the classic look of the Italian Marine pattern: an olive-and-brown mix of organic blotches that reads as unmistakably Mediterranean. “Telo mimetico” is Italian for “camouflage cloth”, and this is the earthy rendition most people picture when they hear the name.
About the Italian Telo Mimetico / San Marco camouflage
Italy built its camouflage reputation on the M1929 telo mimetico, one of the first patterns ever mass-issued. In the early 1990s the Marina Militare’s San Marco Brigade moved to a modern five-colour spattered pattern — stone, sand, russet brown, olive green and black — which collectors know simply as San Marco. It dressed the Navy Marines until the force standardised on Vegetata in the early 2010s.
The v4 colorway
“v4” is the MegaCamo catalogue label for this temperate palette: an olive-green and russet-brown mix with tan accents and darker outlining. It is the greener, more grounded member of the family, closer to the classic issued San Marco than the warm v3 rendition.
How the pattern reads on your hoodie
The rounded, organic blotches spread across the chest, shoulders and sleeves in a natural, almost hand-painted rhythm. The olive-russet contrast keeps the print clearly visible on a printed shell, and the shapes sit well over the kangaroo pocket and ribbed cuffs without breaking up.
Why own this fleece-lined hoodie?
If you want the authentic Marine look rather than a stylised variation, this is the colourway to pick. It is a recognised piece of Italian heritage, wearable in the field and in the street, and it layers well with olive, brown and dark denim. As a hoodie it brings a real history to an everyday warm layer.
Comfort, fit and build
The printed outer face sits over a soft fleece lining, so the hoodie holds warmth and feels comfortable against the skin. It is a classic pull-over with a drawstring hood, long sleeves and a kangaroo pocket, made from 100% polyester with a comfortable drape.
Made to order, sizing and care
This hoodie is printed and sewn on order (Made to Order), with production and fulfilment taking 4-7 days before shipping — the make time, not the total delivery. It runs in sizes S to 5XL, with a +/-5% possible length deviation from manual measurement and production. Care: machine wash cold, do not bleach, do not tumble dry.
