Pattern: Italian San Marco Telo Mimetico 26 (v3)
This is the same respected Italian family as the classic green-brown San Marco, but in a warm, sun-bleached palette that changes its whole mood. It is camouflage that does not try to hide — it leans into the rose, sage and sand tones that make it a natural streetwear piece.
About the Italian Telo Mimetico / San Marco camouflage
Italy fielded the M1929 telo mimetico in the 1930s, one of the first printed camouflage patterns issued at scale, and kept refining the family for decades. In the early 1990s the Marina Militare’s San Marco Brigade switched to a new five-colour spattered design — stone, sand, russet brown, olive green and black — that collectors now call San Marco. It served the Marines until the Navy standardised on Vegetata around the start of the 2010s.
The v3 colorway
“v3” is MegaCamo’s catalogue label for this warm variant. Where the standard San Marco leans olive and brown, this version washes the pattern in sage, dusty-rose and cream-sand, softening the contrast and giving it a retro, faded look that photographs nicely against neutral tones.
How the pattern reads on your hoodie
The large, rounded blotches wrap over the shoulders and down the sleeves, with the rose accents giving the print a gentle warmth instead of a harsh shadow. On a fleece shell the shapes stay smooth, so the whole hoodie reads as one balanced, softly-mottled surface.
Why own this fleece-lined hoodie?
If standard military greens feel a bit samey, this is a fresh way to wear a real national pattern. The soft rose-and-sage palette is rare in camo, easy to match with casual clothes, and immediately distinctive — a warm layer that stands out without shouting.
Comfort, fit and build
A full-colour print covers the outer fabric while a soft fleece lining keeps you warm and comfortable. It is a classic pull-over with a drawstring hood, long sleeves and a kangaroo pocket, made from 100% polyester with a smooth drape.
Made to order, sizing and care
This is a Made to Order item: printed and sewn after you order, with production and fulfilment running 4-7 days before shipping (not the total delivery, which varies by destination). It comes in sizes S to 5XL, with a +/-5% possible length deviation from manual measurement and production. Care: machine wash cold, do not bleach, do not tumble dry.
