Pattern: Bulgarian Stone DPM

This is the Stone rendition of the Bulgarian DPM, a greener disruptive pattern with a grey-stone cast. It keeps the sweeping bands of the DPM family but pushes the ground into a grey-green, with brown and near-black accents giving it a cool, earthy look.

MegaCamo’s catalogue calls this the Bulgarian Stone DPM. On the image the ground is a grey-green, and the disruptive shapes are a warm brown, a paler grey and a dark green-black, in organic bands and rounded patches. The palette mixes the green of a woodland with the grey of stone.

On the hooded tee the stone DPM reads as a muted, earthy woodland camo. The grey-green ground softens the pattern, and the brown and dark accents give it depth without brightness. It is a quiet, natural-looking piece that is easy to wear and easy to layer.

Why own it: the Stone DPM is a cooler, more subtle take on a classic disruptive pattern. The grey-green palette is calm and versatile, and it gives you the proven DPM construction in an understated, wearable colourway.

The garment. This is a lightweight long-sleeve hooded T-shirt, printed all over with the pattern you see on the image. It is cut with long sleeves and a hood and fits as a regular, athletic top. The fabric is a 94% polyester / 6% spandex blend, so it stretches with you, feels smooth against the skin and takes the all-over print cleanly. It is a lightweight piece — about 0.374 kg — and runs in sizes S to 3XL.

Fit and size. Because the sizes run S–3XL, pick the one closest to your usual top size; the stretch in the spandex gives a little forgiveness, but for a closer cut take a size down and for a looser, layer-over fit take a size up. The print is applied across the whole garment, so the pattern continues over the chest, arms and hood without a break.

Made to Order. Each shirt is printed and sewn after you place your order. Production and fulfilment take roughly 4 to 7 days before the item ships — that is the time to make and pack it, not the total delivery time, which then depends on transport once it leaves us. It is not sitting on a shelf, and that is what lets us offer patterns that would never be worth stocking.

Care. To protect the print, machine wash at or below 45°C, do not use bleach and avoid prolonged soaking. Launder on a normal cycle with like colours and don’t tumble dry hot. Cold, gentle washing is the best way to keep the colours bright.
