This lightweight long-sleeve hooded tee carries the classic chocolate-chip desert in a warm, reddish reading. The ground is a pale sand-and-khaki, the broad soft-edged blotches come in a rust-brown and brick tone plus a lighter olive, and the little dark specks that define the family are scattered through in near-black and dark brown. The structure is the six-colour desert — large organic shapes over a lighter field, speckled with the small dark chips — here with a warmer, more earthy cast.

The family is the United States Six-Colour Desert, nicknamed Chocolate Chip or Cookie Dough because those small dark flecks dotted over a lighter ground resemble chips in cookie dough. Developed by the US and standardized for the Desert Battle Dress Uniform from the early 1980s, it was copied by many forces in the region, including long use in Saudi Arabia and standardization in the United Arab Emirates around 1993. This rendition is a MegaCamo colourway of that family, a warmer brick-toned reading, and “Iraqi” is the catalogue label it sits under rather than a confirmed issue pattern.
