Pattern: Argentine Marines Mimetizado Comandos Anfibios v2 — Tan Woodland

This is the second rendition of the Argentine Marines mimetizado woodland. It keeps the same lobate, soft-edged construction of the Argentine “mimetizado” family used by the Infantería de Marina into the mid-1990s, but rebalances the palette.

Where the standard woodland is dark green, the v2 moves the base toward a lighter tan-khaki. The large rounded shapes are filled with olive-green, dark grey-green and a warm brown, so the reading is greener and lighter than the deep-green version — a softer, more open woodland that leans toward a dry-green mix.

On a hooded tee this v2 reads lighter and more approachable than the classic dark woodland. The same organic lobate shapes are there, but the tan-and-olive palette makes it easier to wear and easier to blend with casual outfits, while losing none of the Argentine character.

Why own it: the v2 gives you the Argentine Marines mimetizado family in a lighter, warmer rendition. It is a distinct national camo with a strong unit association, and this tan-leaning palette wears more subtly than the deep green it is paired with.

The garment. This is a lightweight long-sleeve hooded T-shirt, printed all over with the pattern you see on the image. It is cut with long sleeves and a hood and fits as a regular, athletic top. The fabric is a 94% polyester / 6% spandex blend, so it stretches with you, feels smooth against the skin and takes the all-over print cleanly. It is a lightweight piece — about 0.374 kg — and runs in sizes S to 3XL.

Fit and size. Because the sizes run S–3XL, pick the one closest to your usual top size; the stretch in the spandex gives a little forgiveness, but for a closer cut take a size down and for a looser, layer-over fit take a size up. The print is applied across the whole garment, so the pattern continues over the chest, arms and hood without a break.

Made to Order. Each shirt is printed and sewn after you place your order. Production and fulfilment take roughly 4 to 7 days before the item ships — that is the time to make and pack it, not the total delivery time, which then depends on transport once it leaves us. It is not sitting on a shelf, and that is what lets us offer patterns that would never be worth stocking.

Care. To protect the print, machine wash at or below 45°C, do not use bleach and avoid prolonged soaking. Launder on a normal cycle with like colours and don’t tumble dry hot. Cold, gentle washing is the best way to keep the colours bright.
