Type 07 is the digital camouflage family adopted by the Chinese People’s Liberation Army, and this is its desert colourway. Type 07 replaced the older PLA uniform patterns with a pixelated design made of small irregular colour blocks that break up the wearer’s shape at range. It was later superseded by the Xingkong (“starry sky”) system in 2019.

The Type 07 Desert colourway is a warm, sandy design. The base is a pale tan-sand, and over it sit scattered digital blocks of brown, khaki and a muted grey-green, plus darker specks. The blocks are small and irregular, which is what gives Type 07 its characteristic pixel texture.

On a hooded long-sleeve shirt the small pixel clusters read as a soft, warm desert digital. It is a genuine and widely-recognised national pattern, and the sandy palette makes it an easy, wearable camo.

Why own it: this is a modern PLA pattern with real national-military significance, and the desert colourway is a versatile, easy-to-wear neutral. A good entry point into Chinese digital camo.

The garment. This is a lightweight long-sleeve hooded T-shirt, printed all over with the pattern you see on the image. It is cut with long sleeves and a hood and fits as a regular, athletic top. The fabric is a 94% polyester / 6% spandex blend, so it stretches with you, feels smooth against the skin and takes the all-over print cleanly. It is a lightweight piece — about 0.374 kg — and runs in sizes S to 3XL.

Fit and size. Because the sizes run S–3XL, pick the one closest to your usual top size; the stretch in the spandex gives a little forgiveness, but for a closer cut take a size down and for a looser, layer-over fit take a size up. The print is applied across the whole garment, so the pattern continues over the chest, arms and hood without a break.

Made to Order. Each shirt is printed and sewn after you place your order. Production and fulfilment take roughly 4 to 7 days before the item ships — that is the time to make and pack it, not the total delivery time, which then depends on transport once it leaves us. It is not sitting on a shelf, and that is what lets us offer patterns that would never be worth stocking.

Care. To protect the print, machine wash at or below 45°C, do not use bleach and avoid prolonged soaking. Launder on a normal cycle with like colours and don’t tumble dry hot. Cold, gentle washing is the best way to keep the colours bright.
