Pattern: China PLA Type 07 OPFOR — mock-enemy digital
This is an OPFOR — opposing force — rendition of the Chinese PLA Type 07 digital camouflage. Military training units issue a distinctly-patterned uniform so the simulated enemy is instantly recognisable, and the PLA’s training patterns are built from the same pixel structure as the real Type 07 but in a clearly different palette.
The Type 07 OPFOR colourway uses the same small irregular digital blocks as the standard PLA pattern. The base is a light grey, and the blocks are filled with a bright green, a soft yellow-olive and a darker green, with grey accents. The result is a lighter, higher-contrast version of the standard green.
On a hooded tee this reads as a bright, busy digital green. It is clear and pattern-heavy, and the lighter grey-ground palette gives it a distinctly “training” look.
Why own it: OPFOR patterns are a niche and interesting corner of camo, and a PLA OPFOR version is a genuinely unusual find. It adds military training-culture character to a wardrobe.
The garment. This is a lightweight long-sleeve hooded T-shirt, printed all over with the pattern you see on the image. It is cut with long sleeves and a hood and fits as a regular, athletic top. The fabric is a 94% polyester / 6% spandex blend, so it stretches with you, feels smooth against the skin and takes the all-over print cleanly. It is a lightweight piece — about 0.374 kg — and runs in sizes S to 3XL.
Fit and size. Because the sizes run S–3XL, pick the one closest to your usual top size; the stretch in the spandex gives a little forgiveness, but for a closer cut take a size down and for a looser, layer-over fit take a size up. The print is applied across the whole garment, so the pattern continues over the chest, arms and hood without a break.
Made to Order. Each shirt is printed and sewn after you place your order. Production and fulfilment take roughly 4 to 7 days before the item ships — that is the time to make and pack it, not the total delivery time, which then depends on transport once it leaves us. It is not sitting on a shelf, and that is what lets us offer patterns that would never be worth stocking.
Care. To protect the print, machine wash at or below 45°C, do not use bleach and avoid prolonged soaking. Launder on a normal cycle with like colours and don’t tumble dry hot. Cold, gentle washing is the best way to keep the colours bright.
