Pattern: Chinese PLA Type 07 Universal pixelated woodland
This lightweight long-sleeve hooded tee carries a digital camouflage built from small, hard-edged clusters of colour rather than smooth brushstrokes. On the actual garment what you see is a close-pressed mosaic of grey-green, olive, brown and slate-grey blocks that break the body up into small irregular patches, with paler grey-green pooled underneath. The result reads as a modern pixelated woodland, a striking contrast against the smooth, synthetic surface of the tee.
The design belongs to the family of Chinese PLA Type 07 digital camouflage patterns — the pixel-based system introduced for the People’s Liberation Army in the 2000s, with separate woodland, urban, desert and arctic-themed variants. “Universal” is MegaCamo’s colourway label for this green-and-grey rendition, so treat it as the catalogue name for this interpretation rather than a formal service designation. The pixel construction is the identity here: instead of organic leafy shapes, the pattern is drawn from stacked digital squares, which gives it that distinctly modern, “screen-like” camouflage look.
How it reads on the garment
Because the print runs all over the body and sleeves, the pixel texture stretches and breathes with the fabric rather than sitting as a flat poster on the chest. The small-scale blocks make it a denser, more technical-looking camo than a classic woodland — closer to a digital or tactical aesthetic than to a vintage bolt of issued cloth, and it stays readable even at a distance. On a hooded, long-sleeve cut it carries the full sweep of the pattern from hood across the torso and down both arms.
Why own this lightweight hooded tee?
If you like digital camouflage, this is a clean, wearable way to get the look without the weight of a jacket. The pixel pattern is visually busy but not loud, so it works equally well as an everyday base layer or as a piece that stands out more deliberately. It is also a useful entry into the Chinese Type 07 family if you are building a collection of modern digital patterns from different armies — the green-and-grey woodland here pairs naturally with the urban and desert variants in the same family.
Unlike a heavyweight fleece, this is the sort of garment you reach for on a mild day, on a walk or as a stretchy layer under something else. The hood and long sleeves add coverage without overheating, which makes it a versatile piece rather than a seasonal one.
Fit, fabric & care
The tee is made from a soft 94% polyester / 6% spandex blend — stretchy, quick to dry and comfortable for all-day wear. It is cut long-sleeve with a hood, with sizes from S up to 3XL. The weight is light, around 0.374 kg, which is why it stays easy to throw in a bag. Production tolerance is roughly ±5% on measurements, so if you are between sizes it is worth ordering up or checking the chart.
To keep the print crisp: machine wash at or below 45°C, do not bleach, and avoid prolonged soaking. Because it is printed for you, minor variation in print placement between garments is normal.
Made to order
Each tee is printed and sewn after you place your order. Fulfilment from our supplier takes 4–7 days before shipping, and delivery time afterwards varies by destination — so the 4–7 days is the production window, not the full delivery estimate.
Like every pattern in the collection, it is produced as a reproduction and is not an official-issue item of any armed force.
Printed and sewn on order. Shipping directly after fulfillment from our supplier.
