Pattern: Gabon Land Forces
The green-dominant CE woodland brushstroke of the Gabonese Land Forces — olive and brown strokes on a green ground.
About the pattern
The CE (Central Europe) woodland is a French brushstroke camouflage built from broad diagonal strokes, widely worn by former French colonies. Camopedia records that around 2001–2002 parts of the Gabonese armed forces, including some Fusiliers Marins, replaced the lizard pattern with a copy of the French CE woodland, worn by personnel from all branches but most common in the ground forces. This render is the green-dominant CE woodland of the Gabonese Land Forces.
This Land Forces colourway
The ground is a medium olive-green, and over it sit broad, diagonal brushstroke shapes in a darker olive-green, a brown and a grey-green, with feathered, brush-drawn edges. The strokes run diagonally and overlap to break up the surface. The palette is green and olive — olive-green, dark olive, brown and grey-green — giving the pattern a classic, green CE woodland look. The feathered edges give it the characteristic brushstroke texture of the CE family.
How it reads on the garment
Because the strokes are broad and the palette is green, this pattern prints with a soft, broken, natural feel. On the body the olive-green ground sits behind the dark olive, brown and grey-green brushstrokes, giving the surface a feathered, organic texture. It reads as a classic green CE woodland, natural and easy to wear. The olive-green ground sits reasonably against the light hood lining and collar, keeping the neckline tidy.
Why own it
If you like the French CE woodland family, this Land Forces colourway is the classic green example — it carries the documented Gabonese use of the French CE pattern from around 2001. It appeals to collectors of African and French-heritage camouflage. And its green, olive and brown palette pairs naturally with olive, khaki, green, denim and brown. It is a classic, wearable camo.

Made to order
Each hooded tee is printed and sewn to order rather than stored in a warehouse, so the pattern is freshly applied for you. Production and fulfilment take about 4–7 days before your order is handed to shipping; courier delivery time then depends on your destination. Please double-check the size chart before ordering — because each item is made for you, returns are easier to avoid by choosing the right size up front. If a print runs slightly differently from what you see on screen, that is the nature of made-to-order garment printing.
Disclosure
This is a reproduction / military-inspired item, not an issued uniform, and the garment itself is a modern printed piece for everyday wear. The CE woodland naming and the Gabon Land Forces association come from documented pattern history, but this is not official issue equipment.
