Pattern: Gabon Service de Santé Militaire EMT
A reddish CE woodland brushstroke — maroon, grey-green and cream strokes on a grey ground.
About the pattern
The CE (Central Europe) woodland is a French brushstroke camouflage built from broad diagonal strokes, widely worn by former French colonies. Camopedia records that the Military Health Services (Service de Santé Militaire) of Gabon wear a variation of the French CE woodland pattern with a reddish colourway. This render is the reddish CE woodland brushstroke in the EMT (emergency/medical service) colourway.
This Service de Santé EMT colourway
The ground is a grey-green, and over it sit broad, diagonal brushstroke shapes in a maroon or plum, a grey-green and a cream, with feathered, brush-drawn edges. The strokes run diagonally and overlap to break up the surface. The palette is distinctive and reddish — grey-green, maroon, and cream — with the maroon giving the pattern its defining reddish cast. The feathered edges give it the characteristic brushstroke texture of the CE woodland family.
How it reads on the garment
Because the strokes are broad and the maroon is distinctive, this pattern prints with a soft, broken, unusual feel. On the body the grey-green ground sits behind the maroon and cream strokes, giving the surface a feathered, organic texture. It reads as a reddish CE woodland, distinctive and memorable. The grey-green ground blends reasonably into the light hood lining and collar, keeping the neckline tidy.
Why own it
If you like the French CE woodland family and want a genuinely distinctive colourway, this Service de Santé EMT render is a strong pick — the maroon and grey-green palette is a real departure from the standard greens. It appeals to collectors of African, French-heritage and medical-service camouflage. And its grey-green, maroon and cream palette pairs naturally with olive, grey, maroon, khaki and denim. It is a distinctive, memorable camo.

Production and fulfilment take about 4–7 days before your order is handed to shipping; courier delivery time then depends on your destination. Please double-check the size chart before ordering — because each item is made for you, returns are easier to avoid by choosing the right size up front. If a print runs slightly differently from what you see on screen, that is the nature of made-to-order garment printing.
Disclosure
This is a reproduction / military-inspired item, not an issued uniform, and the garment itself is a modern printed piece for everyday wear. The CE woodland naming and the Gabon Service de Santé association come from documented pattern history, but this is not official issue equipment.
