About the pattern

Camopedia records that a number of Indonesian camouflage patterns are associated not only with the Armed Forces but also with paramilitary political groups that arose in the mid-1990s to support the Suharto regime. The Warga Jaya is one such association — a youth or mass organisation that wore a variation of the DPM family. This render is a light, green-forward DPM-style pattern with a distinctive grey-blue accent, distinct from the brighter standard Indonesian DPM. It sits in the broader family of DPM and paramilitary patterns used in Indonesia.
