Pattern: Kuwait Police Security Forces v1 DPM — a grey-blue brushstroke disruptor
Open this one up and the first thing that strikes you is how much darker and more scattered it is than a classic DPM. The base is a soft grey-blue, almost a weathered slate, and over it runs a finer layer of medium blue-grey patches, with short, dark charcoal marks breaking across the top. Those charcoal accents are the giveaway — they flick like small brushstrokes or drifting shadows, giving the pattern a restless, almost salt-and-pepper energy.
MegaCamo lists this as the Kuwait Police Security Forces v1 DPM, the first of two variants in the set. It sits firmly in the DPM family of disruptive patterns — the broken-up, organic designs that grew out of the British approach — but this colourway has been pulled toward grey, so it reads cooler and more urban than the warm green-blue DPMs you meet elsewhere. The darker scattered marks are what separate it most clearly from the plainer two-tone versions.
On the garment the effect is close and layered: not a single large blob pattern but a busy, textured surface that breaks up the shape of the wearer. It looks best when it isn’t fighting a busy backdrop, so it pairs nicely with jeans, grey or black trousers, or a plain jacket. For anyone drawn to tactical or urban camo rather than bush patterns, this is a characterful pick.
Why own it
It offers the disruptive, breaking-up logic of classic DPM in a colourway you don’t see every day — a cool grey-blue rather than the usual green or tan. That makes it a genuinely distinctive piece in a collection, or a quiet-but-unusual everyday shirt for someone who likes camouflage without the loudness. Printed all-over, the pattern blankets the entire garment rather than sitting in a single chest graphic.
Fit, fabric and care
Cut as a long-sleeve lightweight hooded tee in 94% polyester / 6% spandex, it stretches with you, feels smooth, and drapes lightly. It comes in sizes S, M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL, weighing 0.374 kg. As a made-to-order item it carries a small production tolerance (±5%), so check the size chart and choose your usual fit.
To keep it looking right: wash at 45°C or below, avoid bleach, and don’t leave it soaking for long periods.
Made to order
Every shirt is printed and sewn when you order, so allow 4–7 days in production and fulfilment before it ships. Remember that is the making time plus fulfilment, not the whole delivery — shipping runs from that point and depends on where you are.
