About the tiger stripe family

The tiger stripe is a family of jungle camouflage developed by South Vietnamese forces for close-range jungle combat, adopted by US Special Forces in Vietnam from late 1962 to early 1963. Here the classic bands are drawn with a rounder, more serpentine tremor, so they look scaled and rolling rather than straight.

The snake colorway

“Snake” describes the shape of the bands rather than a different pattern family: the same black, olive and brown feather-edged stripes of the classic jungle tiger stripe, but with a wavier, scale-like flow over a green-tan base. It is the greenest member of this set and the one most faithful to the original jungle look.

Because the tiger stripe is built from horizontal feathered bands rather than dense dots, it spreads cleanly across the chest, down the sleeves and over the kangaroo pocket without turning to noise. Expect 4 to 7 days of production before it ships, on top of transport. Sizes run S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL and 5XL, with a +/-5% tolerance in length from manual measurement and the print process. To keep it at its best, machine wash cold, do not bleach and do not tumble dry.
