Pattern: Iranian Iran-Iraq War Panther v3
A warm tan-and-green spot pattern — the mid-tone of the Iran-Iraq War Panther family, the classic sand-ground version with green and brown spots.
About the pattern
Iran’s Panther camouflage is a copy of the American m1942 spot design, produced since the 1970s and heavily used by the Basij during the Iran–Iraq War. Camopedia notes that the tan or desert versions are the most commonly encountered, and this v3 render is that warm desert take: a sand-tan ground with green and brown spots. It sits between the deep olive of v1 and the cool grey of v2, giving you the familiar warm Panther look with a green element that keeps it from being a plain two-tone desert.
This Panther v3 colourway
The base is a warm tan or sand, and over it sit rounded, irregular spots in a muted green and a brown that leans toward khaki. The green is the notable addition — it gives the pattern a woody, almost dappled character rather than a purely desert one. The spots are organic and soft-edged, flowing into one another with gently rounded edges, and they are fairly dense. The warm ground and the green-and-brown spots create a balanced, natural-looking desert-and-woodland blend.
How it reads on the garment
Because the ground is warm and the spots are a mix of green and brown, this pattern prints with a warm, natural rhythm rather than a flat one. On the body the tan ground sits behind the green and brown spots, giving the surface a dappled, organic feel that evokes dry brush and open ground. It reads as a classic desert spot camo with a little extra depth. The warm ground sits well against the light hood lining and collar, keeping the neckline tidy.
Why own it
If you want a warm desert spot pattern with a bit more depth than a plain two-tone, the Panther v3 is a good pick — the green-and-brown spots give it a natural, dappled character. It carries the documented lineage of the Iranian copy of the American m1942 spot design, used during the Iran–Iraq War, so it appeals to collectors, while its warm tan palette pairs naturally with khaki, olive, denim, brown and white. It is the classic Panther look with a touch more interest.

Production and fulfilment take about 4–7 days before your order is handed to shipping; courier delivery time then depends on your destination. Please double-check the size chart before ordering — because each item is made for you, returns are easier to avoid by choosing the right size up front. If a print runs slightly differently from what you see on screen, that is the nature of made-to-order garment printing.
Disclosure
This is a reproduction / military-inspired item, not an issued uniform, and the garment itself is a modern printed piece for everyday wear. The Panther naming and the Iran–Iraq War association come from documented pattern history, but “v3” is a MegaCamo colourway label and the piece is not official Iranian issue equipment.
