Pattern: Iranian Iran-Iraq War Panther v1
A deep olive-green spot pattern — the greenest of the Iran-Iraq War Panther family, built from the American m1942 spot design.
About the pattern
Iran’s Panther camouflage is a home-grown copy of the American m1942 “spot” pattern, produced since the 1970s Imperial period. Camopedia records that it was heavily used by the Basij volunteer forces during the Iran–Iraq War, and it notes a variation that substitutes green for the more common khaki-brown. This v1 render is that greener direction: a deep olive spot pattern where the ground and the spots both sit in the green register, rather than the tan and desert versions more often seen. It is one of the more understated, darker takes on the family.
This Panther v1 colourway
The base is an olive-khaki, a muted green, and over it sit rounded, irregular spots in a darker olive. Both tones stay firmly in the green register, with no tan, no black and no warm brown. The spots are organic and soft-edged, flowing into one another with gently rounded edges, and they are fairly dense, covering much of the surface. The close values mean the contrast is low and the overall look is quiet and earthy — a deep, restrained green spot pattern.
How it reads on the garment
Because both tones are olive and close in value, this pattern prints with a soft, low-contrast feel rather than a busy one. On the body the olive ground and darker spots merge into a gentle, mottled green at a distance, reading as subtle printed fabric rather than as loud military kit. It is one of the quieter spot patterns, which makes it easy to wear as a plain everyday piece. The olive ground sits well against the light hood lining and collar, keeping the neckline uncluttered.
Why own it
If you want a spot pattern that is deep, muted and green rather than the usual sand-and-tan desert version, the Panther v1 is a strong pick. It carries the genuine lineage of the Iranian copy of the American m1942 spot design, heavily used during the Iran–Iraq War, so it appeals to collectors of Middle-East camouflage. And its quiet olive palette pairs naturally with olive, khaki, denim, brown and black, making it an easy, understated everyday camo.

Made to order
Each hooded tee is printed and sewn to order rather than stored in a warehouse, so the pattern is freshly applied for you. Production and fulfilment take about 4–7 days before your order is handed to shipping; courier delivery time then depends on your destination. Please double-check the size chart before ordering — because each item is made for you, returns are easier to avoid by choosing the right size up front. If a print runs slightly differently from what you see on screen, that is the nature of made-to-order garment printing.
Disclosure
This is a reproduction / military-inspired item, not an issued uniform, and the garment itself is a modern printed piece for everyday wear. The Panther naming and the Iran–Iraq War association come from documented pattern history, but “v1” is a MegaCamo colourway label and the piece is not official Iranian issue equipment.
