Pattern: Iraq Desert DPM — a muted sand-and-brown desert disruptor

A classic desert “disruptive pattern” in its softer, dustier register. It works the same way as a woodland DPM but is re-toned for open ground: broad, soft-edged patches instead of green. The palette here is a pale khaki-sand field with warmer tan-brown patches and paler cream interruptions, all with slightly blurred, organic edges rather than sharp blocks. The patches are large and interlocking, so the design breaks up the surface by size and orientation rather than by contrast — each zone is close in tone to its neighbour, which is what keeps it muted.

MegaCamo labels it the Iraq Desert DPM; “DPM” names the disruptive-pattern structure and the Iraq association is a catalogue label. What marks this version is the low-key, sun-washed colouring — muted, faded and dry, like old arid kit left out under a hot sun. There is no green and no strong dark accent, so it reads entirely as a dry-climate pattern.

Printed across the whole garment, it stays neutral and easy to wear. The sand tones blend with most casual and outdoor outfits, and the absence of green gives it a clean, desert-field character that is easy to pair with tan, khaki, brown and cream. Because the tones are so close, the pattern reads as a soft texture rather than a bold one, and it sits comfortably as a plain-ish statement layer.

Fit, fabric and care

Long-sleeve lightweight hooded tee in 94% polyester / 6% spandex — stretchy, smooth and light. Available in S, M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL, at 0.374 kg. Made to order, so allow a small production tolerance (±5%) and check the size chart first.

Wash at 45°C or below, do not bleach, and avoid prolonged soaking.
