Pattern: South Korea Special Warfare Command Pixel (Doksa)
A woodland-inspired digital pixel with a warm tan ground and dark green and black blocks — the “venomous snake” of the ROK Special Warfare Command.
About the pattern
Around 2006 the Republic of Korea Special Warfare Command — the country’s special operations formation — began fielding a new pixelated design shaped after the American MARPAT digital family. Korean reference material calls it Doksa (독사), meaning “venomous snake”. Rather than a pure woodland of leaf blobs, it is built from small squares and rectangular pixels arranged in the classic woodland colouring: black, medium green and khaki shapes set against a light brown or tan ground. It sits apart from the later, more uniform Granite B pattern worn by the wider armed forces, because it belongs to the special-operations lineage and carries a warmer, earthier palette.
This SWC Pixel colourway
The MegaCamo render keeps the warm tan ground that defines the family and layers it with darker pixel clusters in forest green, a deep navy-black and a lighter olive. The tan reads fully, so the overall cast is warmer and more earthy than the cool grey-green of the granite patterns. There is a clear three-tone interplay — dark blocks, mid-green and a pale khaki-tan that sits between them — and the pixels are small enough to read as a fine grain rather than as big chunky squares. The result is a digital woodland that still feels grounded and natural rather than synthetic.
How it reads on the garment
Because the ground is a light tan, this pattern prints lighter and cheerier than the deeper woodland camos. On the body the tan background dominates, with the green and black pixels breaking it up in a busy, energetic rhythm. It has the practical look of a specialised military design while staying neutral enough to wear as a plain piece. The pale hood lining and collar pick up the tan ground and blend smoothly, so from a distance the tee reads as a warm, textured field rather than as a hard military print.
Why own it
This is the pattern worn by South Korean special operations, so it carries a sharper, more specialist pedigree than the standard-issue ROK camouflage. Collectors and historians get a design tied to a distinct unit lineage, while buyers who just want something different get a warm, earth-toned pixel that is noticeably lighter than the usual dark woodland. Its tan base also makes it a versatile everyday piece — it flatters olive, khaki, denim and white without clashing, and it works just as well as a casual layer as it does for outdoor wear.

Made to order
Each hooded tee is printed and sewn to order rather than stored in a warehouse, so the pattern is freshly applied for you. Production and fulfilment take about 4–7 days before your order is handed to shipping; courier delivery time then depends on your destination. Please double-check the size chart before ordering — because each item is made for you, returns are easier to avoid by choosing the right size up front. If a print runs slightly differently from what you see on screen, that is the nature of made-to-order garment printing.
Disclosure
This is a reproduction / military-inspired item, not an issued uniform, and the garment itself is a modern printed piece for everyday wear. The Doksa / Special Warfare naming comes from documented pattern history, but this is not official South Korean issue equipment.
