Pattern: Iranian Army M81 v1
The classic US M81 woodland in its most familiar green, brown and tan form — the Iranian Army’s standard woodland copy.
About the pattern
The US M81 woodland is one of the most widely copied camouflage patterns ever made, and Iran has produced its own versions and variants since the 1980s. Camopedia records several Iranian copies of the M81 woodland in use by both the Army and the IRGC over the decades, with variations in the dye shades and sometimes in the alignment of the printing screens. This v1 render is the standard take on the pattern: the familiar green, brown and tan woodland structure with black accents. It is the classic M81 that people recognise instantly, in the colouring the pattern was originally designed for.
This M81 v1 colourway
The base is a warm tan, and over it sit the signature M81 woodland shapes — irregular, organic blotches with rounded edges and small branching breaks — in a mid-to-dark green, a brown and near-black accents. There is nothing unusual or off-palette here; it is the textbook woodland colourway with the green as the dominant tone and the tan showing through as the ground. The shapes are the classic M81 proportions, clean and readable, giving the pattern a familiar, balanced look.
How it reads on the garment
Because it is the pattern everyone knows, this prints with instant recognition. On the body the green and brown blotches break up the silhouette in the classic woodland rhythm, with the tan ground keeping it from feeling too dark or heavy. It is a true woodland — earthy, textured and practical — and it reads clearly as camouflage at any distance. The tan ground sits well against the light hood lining and collar, keeping the neckline uncluttered.
Why own it
If you want a woodland, this is the reference version — the M81 shape in its most standard colouring, worn by the Iranian Army as a documented copy of a world-famous pattern. For collectors it is a foundational piece of any camouflage collection, and for everyday wearers it is a genuinely wearable woodland that pairs with olive, khaki, denim, brown and black. It is the camo you reach for when you want a pattern that simply works.

Made to order
Each hooded tee is printed and sewn to order rather than stored in a warehouse, so the pattern is freshly applied for you. Production and fulfilment take about 4–7 days before your order is handed to shipping; courier delivery time then depends on your destination. Please double-check the size chart before ordering — because each item is made for you, returns are easier to avoid by choosing the right size up front. If a print runs slightly differently from what you see on screen, that is the nature of made-to-order garment printing.
Disclosure
This is a reproduction / military-inspired item, not an issued uniform, and the garment itself is a modern printed piece for everyday wear. The M81 woodland naming and the Iranian Army use come from documented pattern history, but “v1” is a MegaCamo colourway label and this is not official Iranian or US issue equipment.
