Pattern: South Korean ROKMC WAVEPAT

This lightweight hooded tee is printed with the traditional camouflage of the Republic of Korea Marine Corps. Sometimes called the “wave pattern”, it is built from long, wavy horizontal bands of colour that ripple across the fabric – a brushstroke-style design rather than a digital pixel build. “WAVEPAT” is the MegaCamo label for this rendition.

The wave look

By eye the pattern is a darker olive or charcoal-green ground carrying flowing, irregular bands of pale grey-green and tan that run across the garment. The strokes are soft-edged and continuous, so the surface has a layered, almost water-like movement, which is where the “wave” name comes from. It is a subdued, tonal pattern rather than a high-contrast one, and it reads as a distinctly Korean take on the tiger-stripe family.

How it reads on this tee

Because the bands are broad and flowing, the pattern spreads naturally across the chest, sleeves and hood without turning into a busy mass. The darker tones keep it grounded, so it sits easily with olive, brown, grey or a plain jacket, and the wave movement gives the print a sense of depth that a flat multi-colour camo does not. It is a cleaner, more understated cousin of the classic tiger stripe.

This is a pattern you will not see on every street – the ROKMC wave design is a genuine national camo with a strong, recognisable identity, and it is far less common than the woodland and digital patterns that dominate. The garment

This is a lightweight performance hooded tee built for active use outdoors. It is cut from a 94% polyester / 6% spandex blend, so it stretches with you for a modern athletic fit, and the fabric is light, breathable and quick-drying with an odour-resistant finish. The long sleeves and hood give you extra coverage from the sun, and the all-over print runs cleanly across the whole garment.

Made to order, sizing and care

Like every MegaCamo piece, it is printed and sewn only after you place your order, then shipped once fulfilment from our supplier is complete. Allow 4 to 7 days of production before it ships, with transport time on top. It comes in sizes S, M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL, with a +/-5% tolerance from manual measurement and the print process. To keep it at its best, machine or hand wash, keep the temperature at or below 45°C, do not bleach and do not soak it for long periods.
