About the tiger stripe family

The tiger stripe is a family of jungle camouflage developed by South Vietnamese forces for close-range jungle combat, adopted by US Special Forces in Vietnam from late 1962 to early 1963. The urban rendition recolours those feather-edged bands onto a grey ground, a neutral reading of the pattern that suits stone and concrete better than jungle greens.

“Urban” is the MegaCamo label for this rendition. By eye it is a cool grey take: a light grey ground carrying darker grey and charcoal feather-edged bands, with a faint cool tint rather than the warm sand of the desert variants. It is a clean, hard-edged pattern that reads almost graphic against a plain garment.

Expect 4 to 7 days of production before it ships, on top of transport. Sizes run S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL and 5XL, with a +/-5% tolerance in length from manual measurement and the print process. To keep it at its best, machine wash cold, do not bleach and do not tumble dry.
