Pattern: Belgian Jigsaw — BME Style

This is a BME-style colour rendition of the Belgian Jigsaw pattern. Belgian Jigsaw camouflage is a brushstroke puzzle-piece design used by the Belgian Armed Forces, and this palette runs it in a warm, woodland range.

The BME Style colourway sits on a khaki-tan base. The soft brushstroke shapes are filled with muted green, warm brown, olive and a lighter tan, so the whole pattern lands in a natural bush-and-forest range. It is a fuller, more terrestrial take on the Jigsaw brushstrokes.

On a long-sleeve shirt this reads as a warm, organic woodland camo. The brushstrokes give it a soft, painted look, and the green-and-brown palette makes it a versatile everyday piece that works almost anywhere.

Why own it: the BME Style is the more conventional woodland face of a genuinely distinctive Belgian pattern. It keeps the painterly Jigsaw character while sitting in a palette that is easy to wear day to day.

The garment. This is a lightweight long-sleeve hooded T-shirt, printed all over with the pattern you see on the image. It is cut with long sleeves and a hood and fits as a regular, athletic top. The fabric is a 94% polyester / 6% spandex blend, so it stretches with you, feels smooth against the skin and takes the all-over print cleanly. It is a lightweight piece — about 0.374 kg — and runs in sizes S to 3XL.

Fit and size. Because the sizes run S–3XL, pick the one closest to your usual top size; the stretch in the spandex gives a little forgiveness, but for a closer cut take a size down and for a looser, layer-over fit take a size up. The print is applied across the whole garment, so the pattern continues over the chest, arms and hood without a break.

Made to Order. Each shirt is printed and sewn after you place your order. Production and fulfilment take roughly 4 to 7 days before the item ships — that is the time to make and pack it, not the total delivery time, which then depends on transport once it leaves us. It is not sitting on a shelf, and that is what lets us offer patterns that would never be worth stocking.

Care. To protect the print, machine wash at or below 45°C, do not use bleach and avoid prolonged soaking. Launder on a normal cycle with like colours and don’t tumble dry hot. Cold, gentle washing is the best way to keep the colours bright.
