Pattern: Bulgarian Desert DPM

This is the desert rendition of the Bulgarian DPM, carrying the same banded disruptive construction as the woodland version but bleached into dry, arid tones. It keeps the flowing DPM shapes and drains the saturation for open terrain and summer wear.

MegaCamo’s catalogue calls this the Bulgarian Desert DPM. On the image the ground is a pale sand-tan, and the disruptive shapes are a dusty olive-green and a warm mid-brown, arranged in soft bands and rounded patches. The palette is light and earthy, with the green and brown drained of saturation.

On the hooded tee the pale DPM reads as a light, natural desert camo. The sand ground and soft green-brown bands make it easy to pair with light clothing, and it keeps the classic worn-in DPM look while sitting firmly in a dry palette. It is a versatile, wearable piece.

Why own it: the Desert DPM is the light, arid face of a classic disruptive pattern. The sand-and-dust palette is warm and easy to wear, and the flowing bands give it a proven, timeless camouflage character.

The garment. This is a lightweight long-sleeve hooded T-shirt, printed all over with the pattern you see on the image. It is cut with long sleeves and a hood and fits as a regular, athletic top. The fabric is a 94% polyester / 6% spandex blend, so it stretches with you, feels smooth against the skin and takes the all-over print cleanly. It is a lightweight piece — about 0.374 kg — and runs in sizes S to 3XL.

Fit and size. Because the sizes run S–3XL, pick the one closest to your usual top size; the stretch in the spandex gives a little forgiveness, but for a closer cut take a size down and for a looser, layer-over fit take a size up. The print is applied across the whole garment, so the pattern continues over the chest, arms and hood without a break.

Made to Order. Each shirt is printed and sewn after you place your order. Production and fulfilment take roughly 4 to 7 days before the item ships — that is the time to make and pack it, not the total delivery time, which then depends on transport once it leaves us. It is not sitting on a shelf, and that is what lets us offer patterns that would never be worth stocking.

Care. To protect the print, machine wash at or below 45°C, do not use bleach and avoid prolonged soaking. Launder on a normal cycle with like colours and don’t tumble dry hot. Cold, gentle washing is the best way to keep the colours bright.
