Armenian Butan Camouflage Lightweight Hooded T-Shirt

Pattern: Armenian Butan — Tan Desert

This is a desert-leaning rendition of the Armenian “Butan” camouflage. Butan is a leaf-based camouflage design, built from irregular organic shapes and used by a number of post-Soviet forces; the Armenian military adopted its own version, and this is the dry colourway.

The tan Butan colourway sits on a warm sand-khaki base. Over it, broad soft-edged lobate shapes in brown, dark olive and a lighter tan break the surface, scattered unevenly so the pattern reads as organic foliage rather than digital blocks.

On a hooded tee this reads as a warm, natural desert-leaf camo. The rounded shapes and muted brown-and-tan palette make it a low-key, wearable top that suits summer and everyday wear, and the leaf texture keeps it from looking flat.

Why own it: it is a real post-Soviet national leaf pattern in a warm desert palette, uncommon in the western camo market. It is a distinct, easy-to-wear piece for someone who wants something other than the standard woodland or digital camos.

The garment. This is a lightweight long-sleeve hooded T-shirt, printed all over with the pattern you see on the image. It is cut with long sleeves and a hood and fits as a regular, athletic top. The fabric is a 94% polyester / 6% spandex blend, so it stretches with you, feels smooth against the skin and takes the all-over print cleanly. It is a lightweight piece — about 0.374 kg — and runs in sizes S to 3XL.

Fit and size. Because the sizes run S–3XL, pick the one closest to your usual top size; the stretch in the spandex gives a little forgiveness, but for a closer cut take a size down and for a looser, layer-over fit take a size up. The print is applied across the whole garment, so the pattern continues over the chest, arms and hood without a break.

Made to Order. Each shirt is printed and sewn after you place your order. Production and fulfilment take roughly 4 to 7 days before the item ships — that is the time to make and pack it, not the total delivery time, which then depends on transport once it leaves us. It is not sitting on a shelf, and that is what lets us offer patterns that would never be worth stocking.

Care. To protect the print, machine wash at or below 45°C, do not use bleach and avoid prolonged soaking. Launder on a normal cycle with like colours and don’t tumble dry hot. Cold, gentle washing is the best way to keep the colours bright.
