French Lizard E1 Camouflage Lightweight Hooded T-Shirt

Pattern: French Lizard E1 — a greener, saturated brushstroke

This is the greener, more saturated member of the French lizard set. The base is a pale olive, and over it run bold brushstrokes in a lively green, a rich brick-rust and a warm tan. Compared with the muted A2 or the washed-out D tropical, the E1 is brighter and fuller, with the green carrying real weight across the pattern.

MegaCamo calls this the French Lizard E1. The family is the léopard — the Denison-derived brushstroke camouflage the French Army wore from 1947 through the late 1980s, known to collectors as TAP 47. Because the original was printed in many different dye lots and fabrics over about ten years and used all at once, the lizard exists as a family of closely related variants, and the E1 is one lively reading of that range. The warmer, greener palette gives it a distinctly vegetal, tropical character.

On the garment the E1 reads rich and energetic. The green brushstrokes interlock with the rust and tan to create a pattern that feels alive and leafy, closer to a jungle interpretation than a dusty desert one. It is still unmistakably lizard — long flowing brushstrokes, no hard edges — but the saturated greens make it feel more like vegetation than faded canvas. It pairs well with olive, brown, khaki and denim, and it holds up as a statement piece rather than a background camo.

Fit, fabric and care

This is a long-sleeve lightweight hooded tee in a 94% polyester / 6% spandex blend — stretchy, smooth and light. It comes in S, M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL and weighs 0.374 kg. Being made to order, a small production tolerance of about ±5% applies, so check the size chart first. Wash at or below 45 °C, do not bleach, and avoid soaking it for long periods.

This tee is printed all-over and sewn to order, so expect around 4–7 days of production and fulfilment before it ships; delivery time then depends on your location. The E1 pattern blankets the whole garment in a continuous, all-over print.
